Nice work all of you...String, Fluter and Calanacrafts! I'm anxious to get back to knitting kilt hose again...I'm supposed to be test knitting a pair for a designer, hopefully it will be soon after the Holidays. I think she's going to publish several of her designs-in a book I hope-so I'll be testing this one pattern for her.

It's great to see what everyone else is working on, I'm just learning knitting so I started small with baby socks and now I'm working on a pair for myself. Then I will tackle a pair for my husband. The book I learned from is "New Pathways for Sock Knitter" by Cat Bordhi. Great book explains everything in great detail, from top down socks to toe up socks. Also gives master sock patterns you can manipulate for different size footsies.

If any of you fine lasses needs someone to knit hose for, I'd be happy to model them on my finely sculpted legs!!

What? No free hose? Oh well, worth a shot.
