Knit Kilt Hose Patterns
I was browsing looking for kilt hose, and came across a few patterns- if you know any knitters, we generally love making socks*, and these seem pretty easy!

I know most knitters love requests for Christmas presents or birthdays, and can customize patterns to some extent.
(*And by we, I don't mean me, I can't turn a heel to save my life!)

Shay...
I have a pair of the "Anderson" pattern hose which my dear mother (80 plus years young) knit for me. In fact, I wore them at my daughters wedding last weekend and they are wonderful. To me reading the pattern is like trying tpo read ancient Egyptian, but she obviously understood it all. She is, in fact, suppose to be knitting me anither pair for my birthday - in another few weeks - in a different color. I have seen hand knit hose like this selling for upwards of $100 per pair... definately worth it if you if you know a knitter!

Yeah, I'm always fine until I get to a heel, and then I throw up my hands and create yet another pair of legwarmers.
