New Firefighter Casual
One of my friends who is on the municipal volunteer fire department with me said, "Wouldn't it be cool if we could all have the Firefighter Memorial Kilts to go with our dress shirts." I agreed it would be cool and also agreed that most of the good old boys would probably scoff at the idea of kilting up (at least two of us have gumption).
Well, I got in last night after a good evening on the town and went online to USA kilts and, whether it was my friend's words still ringing in my ears or my unfortunate propensity to spend money after a few beverages, I ordered the kilt from Rocky. I needed a good casual kilt anyway, so I am looking forward to its arrival (might be a little while, they're pretty busy there). I'll post some pics when it comes; I think it'll look pretty nice with our dress shirt tops and some black kilt hose.

Congratulations, I look forward to seeing the pics. I know it's a bit out of the way but have you thought about making it down to Hamilton for our Burns Night on the 23rd of Jan?

I would love to come down for that, however I have committed verbally to the Burns night held annually at The Black Dog pub here in Bayfield. They put on a pretty good evening, with a good piper! But I am definitely interested in other SOKS events! Thank you kindly for your invitation.

I didn't even know that the pub had a website. Excellent. Now that does free me up on the 23rd. If you wanted to send me the details McMurdo, that would be great. Weather may be an issue, but I would like to know the times and location. If I can swing it, I would be happy to join in on the fun.

You will never regret an impulse buy from Rocky!
or Matt, or Steve, or Jerry, or the Crofts, . . . .
