I just watched a segment the other night about Bob Hope and how he always visited the troops. Although there are celebrities who go now, we don't have a man like him anymore.

Bob played to our base at RAF Lakenheath in 69. Was a good show and I got to shake his hand back stage. I was one of the Base Photographers who was assigned to the show and the Base tour. When ever I would get ready to get a shoot He would ham it up and say get my best side and laugh.
