I did pretty good this year, mostly of hand made kilt related clothing made by my loving and genius wife...
First, she made me two band collar shirts with a little extra length. Both are silk but one is a silk broadcloth and the other is a silk and linen blend. I got a black one with a white collar and a cream one (in the photo).
Then she made me a Jacobite blue bonnet--knitted and felted--and a white satin cockade (from a photo and illustration here on this forum...thank you very much).
And lastly, after a lot of research and many mistakes that had to be taken out, she made me a singleton and a third (didn't get it done in time for Christmas) of tartan hose to match my kilt.
I also got a small round "sporran" flask from my daughter.
Here you can see the shirt, bonnet and hose:

and this photo shows the hose a little more closely:

Happy Christmas to all who partake!! Scooby and his mom gave me a potpouri of coffee related items, including a handpainted mug. No kilt related items, but I think I may finally get my "kilt jacket" in time for Burn's Supper next month; it's been in progress for more than a decade.

I love the bonnet!

Happy Holidays to all,
I got a few small contributions to the pipe fund, and a new heart rate monitor. I also scored a few Fox fur stoles on Ebay to re-gift as sporrans to other Kinney men.
Cheers,
Kevin

Your wife did a fine job on your argyle hose.
