For those of you only recently arrived on the scene, and unaware of Wendy Wood, et al, let me advise you that Scotland's national anthem is "Scots Wha' Hae"-- and has been for a long, long, time.

"Flower of Scotland" might be okay for a football/rugby anthem, but it fails miserably when compared to "Scots Wha' Hae'" in terms of representing the Scot's love of liberty. Even "Hail Caledonia", which extols the virtues of Scotland's rugged grandeur, better represents the Scottish nation than a song that wallows in defeatism and wishful thinking.

Nothing against the Corries-- BUT-- they haven't a patch on Robert Burns.
