I got a new bagpipe case, but, best of all, my nephew and his wife gave me a new great-nephew on Christmas Day!

New Jacket
My Christmas consisted of the new Brian Boru Jacket that I ordered in November. It arrived on Christmas eve (Thanks Rocky ), Yea!
I'll be wearing it again for New Years Eve. This time I'll take a pic or two. I should have ordered my Dress Sporran earlier (I'm still waiting for it) and I'm betting that it waiting for Rocky to come back from Holidays. So, I'll wear my Day Sporran in the mean time (I know, kilt faux pas, but I do have an excuse).
Just out of curiosity how many of you will be wearing the tartan on New Years eve? Where is everyone going to be hanging out? Staying home or going out to a party/Pub?
Cheers and Happy Holidays!

Santa was nice!!!!
I got to order an Amerikilt!!!!
It's in OD green and should be in my pudgy fat fingers sometime mid January, I think lol!!!!
And I got a nifty little flat cap to go with it!!!!
I think my friends and family took pity on me from all the blood, tears and the amount of cash that was flooding into my swear jar as I struggle through with my first Xkilt...lol...which is still being worked on in between other projects (thanks Ike) but those are almost done and I can devote more time to growing that callouse on my finger

My Christmas was grand to say the least: I got a Sherriffmuir Doublet w/ waistcoat, 3 sets of traditional garter ties (ancient red, red, purple) , Navy Lewis Kilt hose, History of Britain DVD, and a coupon from the wife redeemable for a Tank of my choosing at her expense!
(I gave her a sapphire/diamond earrings/ring/necklace set)
