Update - I am getting a refund as well. Their return email to me states that mine really is a large, but they will refund me anyway.

There's no way mine is a large. Medium, maybe. I'm still curious as to whether the size 52 is bigger than mine, though. I'd be willing to buy one from somebody if it was.

I can promise you that the size 52 I have is closer to a 36R. I tested it against my son's jackets.
