Sounds great. Glad you got those.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Congratulations on both the Argyll, the hose and the kilt, you look ready for any function with that combination.

The jackets, kilt, and hose all look brand, spanking new! Good on you. Maybe, you should wear that kilt while watching the Superbowl. The first SB was played in 1967.

Ted, my apologies for not including a more detailed description. It was late and I needed to get to bed.

The Argyll I scored on ebay is a soft, sagey Lovat green. It's a very heavy, coarse tweed, but it still has a very soft hand. There's alot of subtle color variation, from light yellows to tan to some blues, but, as I said, the overall color is a sagey green. It has, as far as I can tell, real stag horn buttons. It's fully lined, very warm, and has that "vintage" smell... I love that smell.

The kilt is an eight yard, hand tailored, in a light weight (13 oz?), incredibly soft wool, in the Campbell Dress tartan.

Don't forget the outstanding tartan hose.
