It would be easy to cheaply replicate that pin if you could get ahold of some deer antler. ;)

This is true, but it might be the antiquity of the pin that was so appealing in the first place.

So, is there, like a date stamp? How do we know it has "antiquity?" Does/did it come with a certificate of authenticity?
