16 Meters of Robert Noble Black Watch
If I only had a couple hundred to spare... there's 16m of Black Watch woven by Robert Noble. If my math's right, it comes out to about 21oz material, and 13GBP per meter.
Dunno if anyone here would want in on that, but I thought I'd mention it here.

Don't overlook the GBP 100 shipping cost. And what's posted there is just the opening price. At the buy it now price it's more like $36 per meter. Plus shipping, and customs at 25% for wool fabric.
OTOH, it's likely the 18 oz regimental weight tartan. I have a roll of the Gordon by Robert Noble, and it's bullet proof. Retails for $90-$100/yard.

In case anyone was interested, I messaged the seller re: weight, sett, and actual pictures rather than the generated black watch tartan image.
Seller was not sure what was meant by "weight of the fabric." He did, however, send me pictures of the roll of fabric, which is rolled on itself. So, assuming he weighed correctly, and I got my math correct, it works out to 21oz material, though it may be 18oz as Turpin mentioned.
Also, it's not a full sett of Black Watch. It's a half set, missing the parts with the two sets of double-black lines in the blue undercheck.
He also mentioned the 100gbp shipping price was an estimate and "may work out to be lower."
Just thought I'd add this info, just in case.

I did the same math and also got around 21 oz per linear yard for the fabric weight, but he mentions that it is two meter width which is 78 inches rather than the usual 54-60 inches width tartan we are used to hearing about. If you factor into the weight for the extra width it comes out more like 16oz tartan than 21 oz for comparable standard double width tartan. However, I have never heard of tartan woven at 2 meter width before, although I admit I am a bit of a novice at this.
Cannot comment on the tartan itself as Black watch is not up my alley.

I looked at the shipping, and the length is enough for tariffs. Have to pass.

The postage to the UK is 40 pounds, according to the listing - that seems very high too.
No one had put in a bid when I looked.
