Although it isn't my style I think it is great that a famous fashion designer wears kilts. That will just help legitimize them as every day wear. However I think because of the way he wears them it seems like it will always be just his little gimmick. It will be one of those things where people say "oh, it is just a extreme fashion designer he doesn't actually expect us to wear that."

That's true, esp. as the guy is so "flamboyant" in his dress... He's never made any kilts in his men's fashion lines...

We don't need the go-ahead to be kilted from his kind...

I'm not so sure about 'fashion freedom' and all that lark... I think even he admitted his 'creation' isn't a real kilt...
