    Dancing in a kilt

I didn't know where else to put this thread so here goes. Where would one learn to dance in a kilt. I know the two step and the waltz but what about traditional highland dancing. I'm not talking about getting up on stage and competing, I'm talking about for parties or balls.
I doubt I would ever be invited to anything like that since I'm definitely more rabble than I am gentry LOL. The fact is I think it would be fun to learn to dance to pipe tunes. Some of those tunes are fast and I just know that it would be a blast to dance to

If you are talking about Scottish Country Dancing I see you are in Georgia so this may help RSCDS Atlanta:

It is great fun there are a few of us who do it, I'm sure you would have a good time with it.

I'll be sure to ask. What would you suggest for shoe's? I know shoe's are important when dancing.

    Lightbulb

I haven't danced or even thought of dancing (SCD)for years, but I'm glad that I took the time to read this thread; my cardiologist has me walking daily, and quite frankly it's getting old real fast. I will be going to the Tartan Day event in Puyallup,WA this saturday, perhaps there will be a booth there that I can sign up at or at least get some bumf from.
    Aye Yours.
