So I went out Friday night with some friends for our monthly "Guys Night". Last month I showed up wearing jeans and was actually chastised by my friends for not wearing my kilt (keep in mind none of them ever have worn a kilt before and don't plan to start). Anyways, I show up to the pub in my Fergusson Sport Kilt, dark green hose and red flashed, and a few "don’ts" I'm sure. Well we're enjoying our first round when a middle aged woman who'd obviously had a few, but was not yet being obnoxious tugged on my kilt and asked "what do you wear under this?". I simply smiled looked down at myself and proclaimed "why I wear shoes and socks, what do you wear under yours?"....her husband and 2 of my friend’s snarf beer from their noses as the woman just stared at me utterly speechless.

This was my first time responding to the question and frankly I had been dreading it for no real rational reason I can think of. Now that's it's over and done with I am even more confident in the kilt. Over the last several months I have gone from going kilted maybe 1x a month to now wearing it 2-3x's a week. I’m already looking into getting a 2nd and 3rd kilt to add to the closet. There really needs to be a disclaimer on the XMARKS home page about how addicting kilt wearing can be.
