    Looks nice
how did the Rotarian's react? Rotary has an official tartan, if interested, and the President elect is from Scotland.
I was hoping to be able to wear a kilt on Clan Macfie day as it happens to correspond with my Rotary meeting day. But I can't get the kilt in time

Thanks for the info on the Rotary tartan... I would be interested. The reaction at the club was uniformly positive. In fact, several members I did not know introduced themselves, identified themselves as members of the local St. Andrews' Society and after a few questions suggested I apply. Nothing like a kilt to start a conversation! I don't know how other clubs might react; Savannah is so close to its own history, and so much of it has Celtic ties, that I think my experience might not be universal. A kilt just fits this city. Good luck with the kilt jones!

It seems we're all in one of two states: jones-ing for a kilt; or about to be jones-ing for a kilt!

My club is pretty loose, and would love it, I'm sure. glad you had a positive experience
Here's the Rotary tartan: You can see the Rotary gold and blue overlay.

I like it. I can feel a "rationale" for another kilt coming on... it's like the flu, only more expensive!
