Exclamation kilt in a bag ...What in the World!

i was wondering if anyone have bought a kilt from hector russell in glasgow and if they have can they tell me how they received the kilt and also what sort of service they had .

the reason im asking is my close friend is getting married this year and i was the one who told him to go there for his kilt as at the time they seemed the best choice .....well so i thought so he went a few months ago on a saturday was given a good price for everything and he was really happy instead of getting the kilt that day he waited for a day when we could both go together and get fitted ......when we went back it turned out the guy who gave him the quote was reading from the wrong book so they wanted a extra £200 for his kilt and it wasnt even the tartan he wanted either so after much debate and humming and hawing he managed to get a cooper tartan he liked it ended up with him being so angry at all the hassle he just bought the kilt and decided to buy the the rest of the gear off ebay

now on saturday he picked up his kilt on arrival he was expecting the kilt to be in a cheap basic kilt carrier he wasnt expecting it to be fancy or anything but the staff then walked out with his kilt wrapped up in a plastic hector russell carrier bag now i dont know how shops work and what have you but to have a kilt folded up in standard carrier bag somewhat of a kick in the teeth £320 for a kilt to have it wrapped up like some cheap jumper is a bit insulting of you ask me

im due my kilt from the same place in a few weeks and im worried it`ll be the same for me now surely they can afford some sort of basic kilt carrier for folks or am i expecting too much it just seems to me the shop is lacking that service and standards youd expect from those shops... one thought is with us being "natives" so to speak that the good service is reserved for the "tourists"

    any views would be great
    scott

( ps anychance the title can be changed to something better than the phrase what in the world as its the last type of pharse id say )
