I've a Hector Russel kilt that I purchased through their San Francisco store and received only the highest quality service and exceptional packaging. I find it interesting that they seem to have much better service and practices at their two North American locations than at their Glasgow store. Perhaps the problem isn't Hector Russel but those Glaswegians?

it may be that stores way of dealing with things i guess im just glad im not dealing with them again when i get mine ,im going to buy a kilt roll carrier for when i go to pick mine up ,
weegies(folk from glasgow) eh always trying to save a few quid when they can ,
"CAN I POINT OUT I WASN`T EXPECTING A KILT CARRIER" as such i know they can cost anything from £50 upwards i just expected something a bit more practical than a plastic bag for such a purchase ..if i bought a suit half the price i`d have gotten the thing in a basic suit carrier with a hanger not some plastic bag ,
