We did see quite a bit. It was nice to take walking tours of Dublin, Galway and Athenry. We took the train from Dublin to Galway. It was nice to just sit back and watch the countryside roll by. The EAT conferences were held at the RACE facility in Newbridge. It was humbling to be next to a million dollar horse. My daughter really enjoyed the Guinness. It was her first taste of it. That and the seafood chowder in all the pubs we stopped in. Man was that good.

One of my favorites parts of the trip was trying to decipher the English being spoken to me. The Irish on the west coast talk so fast I can't keep up. I had to ask the bartender in Athenry 4 times to repeat himself before I understood "Is that it?" The look he gave me was priceless.
