It is great to see another teacher have their staff picture taken in a kilt. You look very professional.

I have not had much time to get on. Plus, everytime I get on here and start looking at the pictures and reading the post I go kilt crazy. I am dying to get me a really nice kilt, but just can afford it yet. Thanks for noticing!

That is what I go for. I know it is not the most 'traditional' way, especially since I don't wear a kilt pin. However, I prefer to dress in a way that is less noticeable. In fact I just bought a leather sporran strap so I don't have to wear the chain.

    Thanks! Made that sporran myself.

Good to know some places allow it. I had to get my store manager drunk to say he would let me, and then I held him to it when he sobered up. Then I had to make sure the operations manager wasn't there because we have a strict 'no shorts' policy due to safety hazards (I work at a music store...can't figure out what the hazard would be).

Hmmm... If the females who work there are permitted to wear skirts or dresses, I think they'd have a hard time zinging you for a policy violation. Not that they couldn't make life difficult for you... just sayin.

There is one girl who wears a skirt, but she works at the front door, and not in sales where we move things around. Dang loop hole. I just wear it on the weekends when the operations manager isn't there.

"Anticeltites" is what I call 'em. Bigots is another word.
