    Progress

Today at coffee progress has been made! Their is this chap who for well over a year has said things like why are you wearing a dress or why are you wearing a skirt? Well today for what ever reason said "I like the way you wear a kilt!" I never thought I would hear him say kilt. Progress even slowly is coming.

It is my contention that negative comments will very often be made by individuals that actually admire the garment but for reasons of image or outward appearances, try to hide that fact. Sounds to me like this fellow no longer feels the need for the faux front and has finally let his guard down.

It's good to see this sort of progress. People around here seem to be getting more accustomed to kilts as I wear them around town. The best we can do is to keep wearing them.

Of course, I still have a hard time getting accustomed to young kids wearing their trousers well below their hips and exposing their undergarments, and I have a difficult time understanding why they wear them that way. The fashion arguement could go both ways. I just like to think that the kilted fashion is much more practical.

    Philbo,

I have had more positive comments on the practicality of kilts as opposed to those things known as pants. It has been a great way to explain to others about why I am kilted, now whether they become kilted it is entirely up to them.
