Thank you for the photos Glen - it certainly looked like an event not to have been missed. I was particularly struck by the eclectic mix of dress - everything from pretty formal to downright casual, but I guess that's North America for ye!

Yes Ham unfortunately not everyone knows how to dress for an event. This one is not black tie but semi formal, you will notice most people are dressed semi formal. Last year I was unaware it was semi formal so I went in my Prince Charlie, I felt a little foolish and so decided this year to go semi formal.

Yes Ham I understand the trepidation regarding the diced hose, myself though I love the look of them to me it helps elevate the outfit and hearken back to days gone by.
