I've always had a fondness for deerhounds and wolfhounds, and lately I've developed an interest in the Irish lurcher (Irish wolfhound-mix).
I've known some great Border Collies, Wheatens, Westies, Cairns and Scotties, but despite my avatar I have yet to meet a Bearded Collie.

I can't choose one! I like Wolfhounds, Westies, Irish terriers, and Gordon Setters.

    Cardigan Welsh Corgis

    Hughie the old man.

    The trio.

Radar. 16 months old and cocky.

Dixie. Three years old and blurry.

These are bred as tough little cattle herding dogs. All three of them are decent sheep herders. But they love the couch.

The departed but much loved Sparkey, Dixie's great-grandma.

Hughie, a few years ago. The money we saved on the legs we spent on the ears. (Old Cardigan corgi joke.)

My favorite celtic dog is the Cairn Terrier a cousin to the Westie. The cairn is also famous for a role in a little movie known as The Wizard of Oz. Mabye you have heard of it.

Anyway here is a pic of my dog Pookie Bear sleeping in my Laptop case.

Nobody loves the Brittany Spaniel? Thanks for all your faves. They are all noble beasts, and will surely be waiting for us on the other side.

I've had Brittanies is the past, but the sweetness of the Goldens is unsurpassed.

I have to cast my vote for the Pembroke Corgi, but border collies are wonderful.
