I have gone golfing kilted for many a year it is fun and cooler in the high heat of summer. I finally got a soft sporran so no more sans sporran, I have always had a good soft belt and moderate buckle.

I wear my usual golf wide brim straw hat to bad if someone don not like it, it is what I want.

    Awesome!

I've recently become addicted to Golf and have over the last year REALLY wanted to go kilted but haven't for whatever reason. Last night I did a search for kilted golf on here and it looks like there's a few that have done it with great success (although maybe not to their game). So, this summer, I too will be golfing while kilted!

I think I'm going to do what ForresterModern suggests and pratice my swing and (golf) ball retrieval.

    Thanks!

We had a golf scramble to raise funds for the organizational picnic last week. I really thought about going kilted but decided against it becasue of the weather. There had been a lot of rain before the event and the course was pretty wet. At the end of the game, I was well mud splattered up past my knees. I'm glad I wasn't kilted because it would have been real hard on the hose.

I might try it on a better day though.

Note: I am not a golfer, although I am starting to get into it. Before this event, I hadn't swung a golf club for about twenty years. My first shot only went a few feet. I am getting an inexpensive set of clubs so I can practice.
