I think this does show that there are many ways of doing things "properly" and that by posting one way as being "the way" only leads to lots of discussion(not in itself ,wrong of course) but in the end it might not be as helpful as initially intended ( sorry Jamie).
I either start with shirt or hose, but my shoes always go on before the kilt, it's so much easier to tie laces without all the extra fabric in the way
