The kilt was stitched along about 2" above the bottom. No hem, remember. Just tacked at each end and free-flowing along from edge to edge of the pleats. I was pleased with that. Still needed pressing. Does not press too well but I will try it again soon.

That would be it, although usually there are three or more rows of basting stitches.
