Earth Tone kilt hose in the heat

I like them since the wool seems to wick the skin dry. Cotton tends to hold the moisture on the skin.

Makes perfect sense, really.

I'll vouch for that. It's plenty steamy in Savannah, too and the wool breathes and wicks away moisture pretty well. I just stay away from my really thick, bulky hose and opt for some basic hose I purchased from a site that Puffer recommended: http://stores.channeladvisor.com/wbsocks/Kilt%20Hose/

Any ideas what colors would look good with OD green? I was thinking red would be kind of neat, but extremely.... Bright

Maybe Maroon? I kind of dislike mixing colors unless they're a dead match, i.e. OD green with bottle or lovat would look silly I think.
