Can you describe what sort of Kilt you are looking for?
It will give us a better idea where to point you.

I wear the kilt because: Swish + Swagger = Swoon.

Chub -- welcome from another Gent of Substance (same measurements as you).
If you're looking for a tartan kilt, I heartily endorse the Stillwater standards or the USA Kilts casual. Since you're going to be working in your kilt, you'll probably want some something you can throw in the washer.
And be sure to join the Gentlemen of Substance social group!!!

WOW, who knew there so many designs?
I like the Freedom Kilt custom fit possibilities. I guess I am looking for black, since it will have to double as a roadie outfit. THat rules out a Tartan, plus as a MacLellan my Tartan is hard to find for cheap. I might need two :-)
LIkely a black canvas or denim with nice pleats, pockets and washability.
I feel so welcomed by the men of substance and teaching community.

CR - don't rule tartan out completely - SWK does a Nightstalker that is predominantly black, then there is the Highland granite tartan or even the Pride of New Zealand - this is it:

Stillwater Kilts has a solid black kilt in their economy line, a nightstalker in their standard line, both made in acrylic so they are machine washable. Plus they are located in Minneapolis as well.
