Only vaguely on topic but one that has been on my mind for several weeks; I bought a blues blouse that I want cut down to a PC. Who would you recommend to do the job and whats the appx cost?
I sure this has been addressed but I just haven't run across the right thread.
Thanks and Semper Fi

I second that... Vmac is her handle, and some members have photos of the work she has done for them... Check with her on prices, I am told she is very reasonable.

Thanks Gentlemen, I just pm'ed her and eagerly waiting for a return. The subject of the Birthday Ball reminded me that I needed to do this before the last minute.

I will be curious on how it comes out. I do not like seeing people wearing that jacket unbuttoned, casually.... But I am sure if it's converted right... It would look sharp....
Anyways, we take you back to the regularly posted threads in the USAKilts forum.

Peacekeeper, who is "Steve", making your box pleat? I'm pretty interested in checking those out . . .
Thanks! And I, too, have a SWK Leatherneck . . . and oddly enough, a SportKilt ( ) Navy. Rocky is my next stop (met him a few times at the shop) for a better product!

Steve, at Freedom Kilts. Its been a pleasure working with him, and the added bonus... Steve is a Marine, himself... so it makes it special to wear a Marine kilt.. made by a Marine. Talk to him via Skype..and he can actually show you options available.
Rocky makes good kilts too... the casuals are very affordable, and are made to measure.. so its not a cookie cutter kilt.. He sews down the edges of the pleats, giving them a crisp look. My opinion... his casuals are well worth the money..
His semi traditionals are very nice too.. Rocky uses quality material in his kilts.. I have seen a couple of them at the Highland Games in Houston, they looked very nice...
