Niiice. We need more kids/people like that! (We also need more pipers that know how to tune their instrument properly - bagpipes can be tuned?!? - before subjecting the public to their playing.)

Jim McGillivray (world-renowned piper) told my piping instructor recently that as he was leaving the Kentucky Scottish Weekend last month - where he had been judging the piping competitions that day - he overheard a couple of ladies leaving the venue ahead of him. (Imagine this in a broad Kentucky accent): "I like the sound of them bagpipes, but a little bagpipe shore goes a loong way."
