Thanks
Well that’s it for this tale. I hope you enjoyed it.
Except for the members of X Marks the Scot, all the characters in my story are fictional.
Although I am sure that there were many expeditions to explore Guyana, Colonel MacGregor and his men are pure fabrications, as are the natives of Hekata.
The tepuis do exist, just as I described them.
Unfortunately, the drug and human trafficking also exist and much of it does occur in the uncontrolled reaches of Guyana. We can only hope that some day these dealers in human misery will be brought to justice.
Be sure to stay tuned for my next story: A Spin of the Kilt.

Great Job!
Sorry to see this one end. Was disappointed every time I logged in and found that there hadn't been a new installment. I hope you won't keep us waiting too long for the next one to begin!

Dave, another excellent story. And once again, you just couldn't let me get through it without some type of injury. Slipping in the shower and breaking my ankle? That's just not right.

We can't have you getting complacent now, can we?
Now you don't know when I'll get you.

The bad part is, my Dr is getting rich off of these injuries AND it makes the job hunting a little rougher.

Hello Dave, what a great story. Any chance I could get a part in
your next story, maybe a Mod Squad type character.
I know I am not as good looking or as clever.
But with your great writting, I could be.
My kind wishes.
