Farlander, Mrs. Farlander, M@A, & walkerk.

A close-up of the fabric on Mrs. Farlanders hot-off-the sewing-machine bodice.

Creative advertising aplenty in the vendor areas.

The singing group "Queen Anne's Revenge".

Each year the crowd grows larger.

So crowded it was difficult to see the cannon battle.

The NorCal Rabble retreated to The Powder Keg in nearby Hercules (another town with an interesting history) for well deserved shade and refreshment.

Here's a pirate reenactment group from your side of the pond: http://www.pyracy.co.uk/
their events link is down, but you might email them to find out about local events if your interested.

On second glance this is a clearing house of sorts for UK pirate groups.
Check their "Crews" link for individual group links.
