Each year the crowd grows larger.
So crowded it was difficult to see the cannon battle.
The NorCal Rabble retreated to The Powder Keg in nearby Hercules (another town with an interesting history) for well deserved shade and refreshment.

my mom is a Vallejo chick and her dad was an engineer at Mare Island Navel Shipyard for 36 years working on nuclear submarines and one of her sisters worked there before it was shut down.
