    FM,

    She's a Vet and I'm a stay-at-home Dad!

I'm the one that has a cocktail and appetiser ready when she gets home with dinner cooking away and the house clean!

    Cheers

Hope I did not offend that flame-haired celtic american goddess. You either (but I see you laughing).

    Jeff,

    No worries at all!

My lovely bride enjoys what she describes as her "1950's Male Moment" of being greeted with a cocktail and a comfortable chair when she gets home.
(Vets often work very long hours with almost no breaks so she certainly deserves it!)

    Cheers

    A neat idea

I thought I would add this postscript about the brown belt and waist plate Jerry sells.

He mentioned to me in an email that he personally wears the same belt and waist plate and had distressed his with a fine grade sandpaper to bring out the detail of the embossed design.

I was intrigued by the idea and he sent me a photo of his belt

I think it gives the belt a whole new rustic look

Those attending the upcoming MN Irish Fair can stop by the Stillwater Kilts booth and see it in person on Jerry

Make sure to tell him "hi" from Panache

    Cheers

The distressed belt certainly has a nice well worn look to it. And you are correct it does help to bring out the detail. I'd be sure to use some superfine sandpaper to do the distressing with, else you will end up with a "fuzzy" area on the spots sanded.
