Probably we should resort to pictures before you commence sewing
just to be sure we've defined our terms the same.
Which hand are you using to "fold it under?" I was thinking about the right side of the apron, where your traditional kilt would have a fringe. That loose fold of fabric on the underside could be blind-stitched down.
ON the left side of the apron, my USAK casuals' apron edges are not stitched down all the way to the fell line---that is, not as far as the pleats are stitched in back. Is that what you're noticing?
Never mind, that wouldn't be near the kilt pin that I don't wear on the casual model. I think we mean the facing on the right.
