August 1st, eh? Should we set up a Kilts night for that night. If you are staying at White Rock, We can easily it up either in Surrey or Downtown Vancouver. Let me know where do you prefer.

Just beware of large men hanging from the chandelier.

Take my advise Jamie and pick neither of the above. Langley is the best bet. I'm in for a Dublin crossing night. I assume the kids are coming out too? Maybe we should do a microbrewery than as they would not be allowed into DC.

I vote for the city because it is a fireworks night, and the kids would enjoy the show. I have yet to try the Atlantic Trap and Gill. Seems to have moved to Robson and Beatty - that restaurant across from BC Place that changes names every year or two.

Of course, the traffic on fireworks night is absolutely nuts, but it be fine on that side of town, for those who want to duck out early.

Anyway, I reckon the kids should see Vancouver, but I'll go wherever the sett decides.

Hope your trip up to Victoria is / was a good one.

Have fun while you're here. We're heading back to the states in the morning.
