    drone ribbons I made

Here are some drone ribbons I recently made to dress up my 'pipes. I've had the green bag cover and cords for over 10 years, and have discovered I like the look of the ribbons fluttering in the breeze.

First, the red ones ('cause I made them first):

    Next, los blancos:

    Red and white together:

    Black:

    And finally, Carolina blue:

    I hope you like them.

Nice touch, the red, white and blue would have gone over well yesterday.

Aye, they would, but with a bit darker blue. There's a thin red line in my tartan, and a good bit of black, so those two match pretty well. I thought the white would look nice if I ever play a wedding again, and the Carolina blue is in the Carolina kilt I have on order.

I've always admired the look how drone ribbons compliment a well-played GHB.

Just be mindful in breezy weather - they can flap around & over your instrument's bushings and stop a drone(s).
