I hate to say it but that kilt looks like it was only half-completed and hanging rather badly on that gent in the instructions. All of the X-kilts that I have seen look very finished by comparison. Probably due to the superior instructions Alan took great care in putting together.

    X-Kilt info

    Hey gang!

I caught a hot-linker that was linking to the X-Kilt PDF w/o permission.

I suspected something was up by the fact that I had 1900+ hits just this month for that file.

    New URL: http://www.kellanmeigh.com/x_kilt/Xk...d_Ed_Rev_K.pdf

Slight change just to break the hot link. Hope this doesn't foul up anyone (other than breaking the link).

    (edit)

I found out it was one of our own ... oops

Anyways, problem resolved and I wil go wash some egg off my face.

Yes I think I need to thank Alan as well thats a hell of a write up!!! and everyone else that contributed to it as well!!! I think in order of my next kilts will be...

    Green X-kilt
Black with green under pleat X-kilt
then maybe try to get some tarten and do a rev K like in the x-kilt manual...

Would like to find a suppliment for a double box pleat... seen a picture of one and those look SWEET methinks a double boxpleated x-kilt would be pretty nice

Anyways thanks Alan only problems I had is I think there needs to be a few pictures about how to set the big under pleat I know it confused me and I ended up doing it alittle different and there seems to be alot of peope asking the same questions about it.. AND maybe adding a pleat to each end (full pleat on the underapron side and atleast a half box on the over apron side) it REALLY makes the kilt look fuller and hang better IMHO AND gives alittle room to grow lol...
