Thank you for posting these, sir! It's great to see a variety of event shots and the scenery is just phenomenal. I've spent so much time in desert climates the second half of my life that I'd forgotten how different things look when a thick fog rolls in. The park is beautiful and looks like a good place to spend a few days exploring even without the games.
And congratulations to David on his UK. Is the Mocker his first kilt?

Thanks for the captions, and story, Rex.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Very nice pictures, Rex. Thanks for sharing. Glad you made it to Grandfather this year. I've been going for about five years now, but this was my first as a member of X-Marks. I made it up on Friday and again on Sunday. It was good to meet so many from here. Hate I missed you. I lost track of time this morning and I'm not sure if anyone met up today. I did run into a few members today, and saw a few more that vanished into the crowd before I got the chance to say hello. Hope you enjoyed your visit and get to come back to the NC mountains again.

Absolutely fabulous pictures, Rex, which really capture the atmosphere and make the viewer feel they were there with you.
Perhaps an Instakilt would be a good idea to take along to the shower room!!
You even had some authentic Scotch mist, sometimes we get that kind of weather at games here in Scotland.

Rex it was great to finally meet up with with you, sorry I didn't get to meet David. Thank you for posting you photo tour, Linda is seeing all she missed by not joining me at the games. I think she will be there with me next year.

He used to drum for a pipe band once and wore a kilt then, but he didn't get to keep the uniform. He's been eyeing the Sutherland tartans, though...
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.
