for a casual sporran, I am with Riverkilt, I have the Nightstalker sporran, myself, and it has a lot of room. I have usually an IPhone, wallet, keys, checkbook, and whatever else I toss in there. Its inexpensive, $25.00, and a good starter sporran. The other suggestions you are getting, are very good too.. I went with a solid leather sporran strap instead of the chain too..

Thanks for all of the replies so far. Looks like some great sporrans are available. Now I just need to get that kilt and make a decision.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. I broke down and went with the brown Buzz Kidder Celtic Day Sporran from USAKilts. Just received it today and it looks stunning with my kilt. I could not be happier with it.

Also received my USA Kilts MacGregor casual two weeks ago. I'll try to post a review in the next day or two. Hats off to Rocky at USA Kilts, couldn't be happier with the kilt and his outstanding customer service.

My good sir, if you are man enough to wear the MacGregor, you could staple a paper grocery bag to your belly and still look fantastic! Buuuuut, you won't go wrong with a Kidder or if you have the patience, contact our own A_Hay (Tom). He makes a very nice product also.

Mikey - very nice Sporran and of course the MacGregor kilt is impeccable.

Also really like the gray hose and red flash. Haven't been able to make up my mind on hose and flash color but the gray red combo was tops on my list. After seeing yours, I think the decision has been made.
