The picture you have is of an officer of The Royal Welch Fusileers, 23rd Regiment of Foot. They have the Prince of Wales crest and Regimental number engraved on their Gorget. Most regiment had some regimental device or the Royal Coat of Arms on their Gorget. G. Gedney Godwin and several other Sutlers sell them, only not regimentally marked. He is also improperly dressed as he has his sword belt over his epaulet. In full dress he would be wearing a Bearskin cap similar but slightly smaller than a Grenadier's.

Some nice pix on the RWFIA site, btw, including this one from the 225th anniversary of Yorktown:

Similar but of 18th Century pattern. The 23rd was a Fusilier Regiment and all the men were outfitted in Bearskin headgear except the Left Flank or Light Infantry company. The Right Flank or Grenadier Company worn slightly larger bearskins. Bearskin headgear is still worn today by the Fusilier Regiments and if you can find a picture you will see that theirs are slightly smaller than the one worn by the Guards Regiments. Hope that helps.

Here are more pix from the RWFIA site, not that I can vouch for historical accuracy:

The upper is grenadiers, the lower the Lights/flank coys. Accuracy: spot on. As a member of the BAR (Brigade of the American Revolution) myself I know the research the units have to submit on uniforms etc to be approved

Ermmmm.....No. The fellows in the upper picture are not Grenadiers or they would be wearing epaulets similar to those worn by the Light Infantry. They are regular line infantry for a Fusilier Regiment. They would also have Grenadier match cases on their crossbelts.
