Thanks for that link. Also very nice! Their great shawl looks very possible. I've emailed both regarding the timeframe. I'll report back on how it goes with the one I ultimately choose. Thanks!

My wife is sensitive to wool as well but wanted something tartan to wear when we visited Scotland last year. We ran into a vendor call St Croix Weavers who do a lot of tartan weaving of shawls, etc., in both wool and silk and I think other non-wool materials. It took a little effort to finally get the color scheme right as the tartan was a special non-standard one, but in the end we got what we wanted, for a good price. Sorry I don't have any further contact information but I am sure you could find them online if you did some searching as I have seen them advertised elsewhere, just cannot remember where.
