Thankfully it ended happily for me. I sent it back to the seller and she promptly refunded my money. I was only out the amount paid to ship it back. I have since bought another kilt on ebay, but since the seller was our own Gilmore, I knew I could trust that it wouldn't be mis-identified and my trust was rewarded with a great looking Flower of Scottland wool kilt!
