I think for the kilt to survive, it has to be accepted by the younger generations, If this means “pimping” it up and making it attractive to them well so be it, I think Howie has done a lot for the publicity of the kilt. Even here dress hire shops are actually stocking kilt wear as its popularity has increased again. Any thing that make it wear more acceptable is a good thing.

That is not a price that I, for one, am prepared to pay, even if it was necessary to do so and it is not. The tartan kilt is doing very nicely, thank you.
