Everyone have a good time. If you get a chance, stop by the Clan Barclay tent. It should be manned by our President Andy Barclay and his wife Linda. Andy is a native born Scot. He is always fun to talk to. I was not able to make it to our AGM this year and I missed visiting with him. Let him know that Heath told you to go over. I showed him pics of the NorCal crew from last year. He remembers seeing W2F's pink death kilt. And if you happen to snap a pic, please post it.

The Mrs. and I should be in Pleasanton on Saturday. (perhaps Sunday if we can work that out too)
There should be plenty of fine dinning opportunities in the area. For example, there is an Afghani restaurant near by that we particularly like, but there is also Mexican, Japanese, Indian, Chinese seafood and so on!
Mmmm, it must be lunch time...

Driving up from Bakersfield
We moved to Bakersfield at the beginning of August, but have decided that Pleasanton is one of the events worth the drive back up.
We'll be there, both days.

I would love to have been able to join you.
Our newly constituted Clan Cunningham International will be launched at the Cunningham tent and I expect there will be a strong Cunningham presence there this year. Various Cunningham societies are expected to amalgamate and to support the proposal to identify an heir to the Chieftaincy and petition for his appointment as Chieftain. I am going to be involved in building the new organisation here in Scotland and have said I will try to attend at least one tent at a USA games to learn the ropes of tent hosting. However it will take some time for my application for a USA visitor visa to be processed so I won't see you this year.
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

I'm hoping we can raise a dram to Retro Red at lunchtime at the MacNaughton tent, since I'll be busy at 2:00.
