Sorry to hear about the blisters. Are they always part of such a strenuous hike, no way to avoid that?

Yes, but blisters was my own fault. I had new boots and I forgot to tape my heels before I started walking.

On another note, is that a Hilleberg tent you are using?

No, my tent is a Norwegian brand, Hel-sport model "Nordmarka". It takes lots of rain and wind but is not made for winter conditions.

Love the pics Oddern...especially because I could actually view them on my work computer....most peoples pics get blocked. It's truly beautiful country.

Man I really like those pictures. The area looks a whole lot like the mountains above the tree line here in Colorado. We even have glaciers! But you must get above 11,000 feet to find that kind of scenery at this latitude.
