I have the advantage of living in a small city in which any Scottish event has a high number of pipe band members (myself included) attending. Many of whom's only kilt is the band uniform. Needless to say, it's not uncommon to see day wear mixed in with the best of evening wear in Anchorage. That said, I find my L@M Highland leather sporran to go well with everything I do from casual to formal. Most people are fascinated enough by the design they're not too concerned with it being proper for the occasion anyways
