Just read your post for fabric. I get remnants from Frasier & Kirkbright. I know Gordon Kirkbright from numerous phone conversations. I have a great kilt from 13 oz wool blend in Douglas pattern. All a great kilt is; is 4 - 5 yards of double width fabric. Call me and I can give you better information as web sites that show how to lay it out wrap it and belt it.
