I'm 28 and I wear a lot of tweed, not just when kilted. Although it's not something you see a great deal in youth-oriented high-street fashion, I think that's a good thing. It's a timeless, beautiful fabric. I'd echo Jock Scot's sentiments re. the tie, but the outfit is superb. I'm not surprised to hear that the jacket is barely showing its age~ a good tweed is practically bulletproof and should outlive the man it was made for. THIS is the main reason high-street shops don't sell it; they can't sell you another when it wears out.
