A friend took this one of me

Late in the day one of the organizers asked me to tuck my sgian dubh into my hose as they have a no visible blades policy. I took it out and put it in my sporran.

Were they selling Athames? Seems counter-intuitive.

There was a vendor selling all sorts of bladed things. It was explained that they did not want people buying swords etc. then walking around swinging them wildly, somehow my wee sgian dubh would presumably incite such actions in others. The way I see it it was their party and their rules, so I put it away.

Like at super walmarts, where they have "no firearms in the liquor store" signs in the beer aisle, about 15 aisles from the hunting/rifle section. That bothers me at times...

Sorry if I crossed the line by using the P word. I did not think anyone would mind since it really was not a religon question, just what the PPD stood for. Once again if I upset anyone I am sorry that was not what I intened. Any way I do not want to change the subject of the thread as they are great pics of a wonderfull day.Besides I think we can all agree any day kilted is a great day!

Nice photos Glen. Looks like a great day. What were the horns the gentleman was playing? Reminds me of an alpine horn.
