From the size of the sporran you give it's probably a child's sporran with the Seaforth/Mackenzie badge a later addition. Can't tell you anything about the hallmark I'm afraid!
Just a slight correction, but in 1994 the Queens Own and Gordon Highlanders were amalgamted into The Highlanders -- no "Royal".
